BY LAWS OF EASY CO.
393RD REGIMENT, 99TH INFANTRY DIVISION
Portraying a U.S. Infantry rifle squad of the years 1944-45 in the European Theater.
It is agreed by the members:
All members of this squad are required to become annual members to our National Organization, 20th Century Tactical Studies Group., Inc ( TSG) under
the 99th Inf. Div. franchise rights. Members who wish not to join TSG will be deactivated from our squad.
Uniform and equipment must be of the type listed in the uniform requirements.
A battlefield appearance is the object of all members in good standing. Any other dress uniforms, etc. remains the sole discretion of the
individual member and may be worn for other occasions, excluding battles(s) or reenactments.
All members shall be at least 16 years of age.
We are portraying a World War II rifle squad. During events, all members must function as a unit unless directed
otherwise.
Hairstyle and facial hair shall be that of the 1941-45 period. Hair cannot extend past the middle of the ear, over the ear and length
shall be above the collar.
Beards may not be worn. One or two day’s growth is acceptable. Nothing else.
Properly trimmed mustaches and sideburns are acceptable. Nothing else.
All members are responsible for their own safety and that of other
members. Safety is our number one priority. No weapon shall be discharged directly at anyone closer then 25 yards. All knives, bayonets, etc. are for display use and are to be
kept in scabbards at all times.
At no time will live ammunition be used, carried or stored on the property of any combat reenactment, living history or parade. If any member is caught he will be automatically dismissed from the 99th
Infantry Division.
All weapons will be kept empty of blanks at all combat reenactments, living histories and parades
till orders are given to load by our acting squad leader.
All elected non commissioned officers shall have a minimum of two years experience in a recognized reenactment unit, branch of service or society. They will also be responsible for the safety, conduct and authenticity of
all members of this organization. Minimum age for officers will be 21.
A member becomes an officer by way of a majority vote from the remaining members
in good standing. A member serves as an officer for one year.
Yearly voting shall be held in the spring of each year. Officers, planning and general concerns will be addressed on the agenda
at squad meetings.

by-laws are linked with that of 20th TSG, Inc.
